I liked Jalen Hurts’ postgame press conference much more than I liked his decision-making during the Eagles’ 34-29 season-opening victory over Green Bay Friday night in Brazil.
“We had some adversity early in the game. I definitely could have avoided some of those things; I put us in a bad spot as a team. I put us in a bad spot,” Hurts said. “But in the end, we made some crucial plays to extend plays, crucial plays down the field, crucial plays on defense, and even showing up on special teams as well ... Keep pressing forward.”
