Vic Fangio won me to his side before he answered his first question as the Eagles’ defensive coordinator Thursday.
Fangio glanced at the array of smartphones on the table in front of him as he sat down, picked one up and said: “I didn’t know you guys could afford such nice phones.”
(Used to be, reporters recorded interviews with tape recorders, but these days the magic phone does it just as well, assuming you don’t need your phone to take photos of the interview subject to post on social media.
