We’re still in the “platitudes and generalities” stage of Eagles training camp, but over the last few days, I felt we got a little more insight into a central issue facing the team.
That would be the new offense, and how Jalen Hurts is adapting to it, as well as how Hurts and new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore are adapting to one another.
Earlier in the week, we got reassurances about the Hurts-Nick Sirianni relationship, though no explanation of what the hell Hurts was trying to say back in OTAs when he whiffed on a chance to compliment his coach. And we didn’t get an explanation of why Hurts felt no need to clarify those remarks soon after making them.
