The Phillies came home Tuesday night and continued what has been a month-long rampage with a gritty 2-0 win over the Atlanta Braves. Since losing to the Chicago Cubs in Wrigley Field on April 25, the Phils are 22-6. Five of those wins have come by shutout – hat tip to the pitching staff. Ranger Suarez, Orion Kerkering, Matt Strahm and Jordan Romano were all excellent in dispatching the Braves in the opener of this three-game series.
These are good times at Citizens Bank Park....
