FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — There are few preseason storylines that fuel debate more than a backup quarterback competition. A close competitor might be playing time for the starters.
In that spirit, the Eagles' 14-13 preseason victory over the New England Patriots on Thursday hit familiar notes.
After outplaying the Patriots in a joint practice and outlasting them in Thursday's game, the Eagles should return to Philadelphia feeling more emboldened about their team, with more roster questions solved and a few others emerging.  Here’s what we learned from the second preseason victory:
