While covering the Eagles, discussing the Eagles, consuming coverage about the Eagles, speaking to almost anyone in my orbit about the Eagles, and thinking far too often about the Eagles, I figured it's good to write down some extended thoughts. These will appear periodically on allphly.com:
1. The biggest area of focus for the offense should be the lack of early scoring, because that affects game flow and neutralizes how they're built. It’s borderline egregious to go without a single point in the first quarter of a game through four weeks  — and even worse, they’re not even close:
