You’ve all heard the fact by now: the Eagles have not drafted a cornerback in the first round since 2002 (and never in the second round since 2017). This is more based on circumstance than preference, considering the Eagles tried trading up for cornerbacks in recent drafts and were close to taking cornerbacks on other occasions.
