    The Eagles selected Toledo cornerback Quinyon Mitchell with the No. 22 overall pick in the first round. He was the first cornerback to come off the board, evidence that the Eagles believed he was the top cornerback in the draft. It’s the first time the Eagles drafted a cornerback in the first round since 2002. General manager Howie Roseman stayed at his slotted selection in the first round instead of making a trade for the first time since 2020.
