Coming off the bye week, one of the sources of optimism about the Eagles was the relatively soft schedule ahead. The Eagles are now in a good position for four consecutive wins after the bye if they can beat the Jaguars, who are 2-6 and have the NFL’s worst-ranked defensive DVOA. Doug Pederson’s team might be in desperation mode, but the Eagles have a marked talent advantage in this game.
The Eagles should be able to push into the 30s in this game after two of their best offensive performances of the season. The Jags have allowed opponents to score into the 30s in four of the past six games. The Eagles have found a formula that includes a strong running game, but the Jaguars are more suspect...
