Eagles to rest Saquon Barkley vs. Giants, ending quest for Eric Dickerson's single-season rushing record

Saquon Barkley will not break Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record.
The Eagles will rest key starters on Sunday against the New York Giants, coach Nick Sirianni said Wednesday. Barkley is expected to be in that group, leaving him 101 yards shy of breaking Eric Dickerson’s 1984 record of 2,105 yards.
“It's a very special record that's that's been standing for a very long time by a great player. It's a team record that everybody's involved in.
