Appropriately, with Jason Kelce observing practice for the first time summer, the story of the day for the Eagles depth chart-wise was the jockeying at right guard. With Mekhi Becton and Tyler Steen both returning to pads, Becton lined up as the first-team right guard between Cam Jurgens and Lane Johnson during individual drills.
Now, Steen was a limited participant and did not see the field during team drills. So it's possible Jeff Stoutland gave the nod to Becton Monday because Becton is healthier (he missed one day of practice with an illness).
