The Eagles returned to work Sunday for the first time since Friday’s preseason opener and the only full session before going to New England Patriots for a joint practice and a game. They don’t practice in Philadelphia again until Saturday, so this was an interesting time to see what changed and what stayed the same off of the first game.
The injury report included the additions of tight ends Grant Calcaterra (shoulder) and Albert Okwuegbunam (abdomen). Calcaterra’s injury is not expected to keep him out long term, but the Eagles are light on numbers at the position.
