Sadly, I believe this message is falling on deaf ears. There isn’t a single thing AJ said that I disagree with. In 2023, the Eagles were winning, with a 10-1 record, but it was clear that things were not right. Ultimately, we all saw it unravel.

Les, all I can say is I agree. One way or the other we are going to learn something about the offense Sunday night.

Thomas, I don’t think it’s AJ they should be not willing to continue to put up with.

100% agree with this. Eagles are committed to this Patullo/Sirianni disaster of an offensive scheme that’s going to be exposed in the playoffs. Patullo gets demoted/fired, and you’re going to hear them fess up that the offense was too conservative and predictable and that they “have to try harder.”

It’s vexing because we ALL see it. Mailata raised his own concerns about a month ago, and with the exception of one game, nothing’s changed. Patullo is an OC who plays scared. Score a touchdown and depend on Fangio to protect that lead.

In my humble opinion there is a couple of things going on. Lets be honest the Eagles are not good at running the ball this season and I think it’s a combination of things. The O line is not healthy and maybe it’s last years dynamic performance catching up with them. Saquon looks like he is trying to find an opening and he is taking a little too much time to punch through the opening. Third the defenses are daring ,nothing unusual here, for Jalen Hurts to beat them so they stack the box.

Next I think Patullo calls plays to NOT turn the ball over and that seems to be the overriding theme of this offense. Once in a while interceptions are going to happen, it’s the nature of the game but to be so cautious as to not expand your offense hampers the offense. It’s as if Patullo thinks if he calls a play that results in a turnover he is going to get reprimanded. What his play calling is doing is making it easier for defensive coordinators to game plan.
The DC’s know he isn’t going to throw the 20 yard pass so stop the run and make Patullo dial up the pass.
I don’t blame AJ Brown at all this lies at the Patullo/Siranni tandem. The other issue is Jalen himself. His timing in hitting receivers is what it has always been.Late. How is Devonta open down the field but AJ isn’t.

There is a lot of problems with this offense and no matter how much Vic’s D improves down the stretch this offense isn’t capable of winning a playoff game by scoring 17 points.

Currently this offense is not ready to win another Super Bowl.

This all falls into the lap of Patullo, plain and simple. Unimaginative play calling along with too-tight formations (AJ and Devonta always lined up tight instead of wide) make it WAY too easy for NFL Defenses to stop this Offense.

The biggest difference between 2023 and this team is that the Defense seems to be improving each week, where in 2023 it was regressing rapidly as the season progressed.

There is a reason for hope…but Patullo has to be better (and be better QUICKLY)!
