With all the Patullo venom out there (and I am one of them, full disclosure) why hasn’t Stout (who I think is great) been called on the carpet? Fans ripped into Uncle Vic after the Bears ran all over the defense but for a large majority of the season the OL has been… a lot less than stellar but no pointing the finger at Stoutland. Uncle Vic has made the adjustments on his unit to steady the ship but offensively they are putrid.
I did read that Clint Hurtt and Christian Parker are being talked about DC openings but I also noticed no one in the NFL is looking at Eagles offensive coaches for future positions. See the NFL isn’t a bunch of nitwits. They can spot incompetence.

I recently had the same discussion with a fellow Eagles fan at work. Stoutland has been fantastic over the years and is justifiably revered, but it does seem that he’s gotten a pass this season. Obviously he can’t miraculously heal Jurgens and Dickerson, but even accounting for that the offensive line has underperformed. PFF has them ranked 7th (https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2025-nfl-offensive-line-rankings), which surprised me.
That said, I’m hoping that having Lane back in the lineup will give the offensive line a much needed boost for the playoffs.

Michael, I think the reason for that is that no one gets to ask any questions of Stoutland, to evaluate what he says against what’s happening, the way we do with Patullo. Patullo talks every week.
