False start penalties are UNFORGIVABLE when you play at home.

There are so many issues with this team right now. As I watched yesterday’s game similar to Les comment I thought Patullo in his attempt to calm the masses went totally in the opposite direction with his play calling.

No one played well yesterday except for Devonta. Unforgivable all pro LB Baun and his late hit. Kelee Ringo couldn’t cover a rock. I love Jalen and despite the improvements he has made in his time in the league he still holds the ball way too long, that he hasn’t mastered and on a couple of occasions yesterday it looked liked he turned into the rush. Stop thinking about if you can get out of a situation with your legs and throw the ball away.
Second or third and 10 sure beats second or third and 16 or 17 EVERY SINGLE TIME.

As Les noted unless the stars start playing like they have been in the league for a while and not like rookies it will be like this every week. Is it me or does Landon Dickerson get hurt EVERY SINGLE WEEK?

I am not sure how quickly the staff can get things moving in the right direction but I smell an upset Thursday night.
Against the Giants. THE GIANTS!

Well said, Les. What really bothered me about the loss was the general sloppiness that kept them from playing a complete game and putting the game away instead of letting a tough opponent hang around.

It’s still early in the season, and 4-1 is better than I had expected give the tough early portion of their schedule. I hope that the coaching staff and players can resolve these issues, though the banged up offensive line may not be totally fixable during the season, in which case some more creative playcalling may be needed to sustain drives and avoiding lulls like they had during much of the second half of yesterday’s game.
