I tend to agree with you, Les, but wouldn’t it be absolutely nuts if Vic AND Jeff Stoutland did not come back? That could very well be the worst case scenario this off season.

I think Vic stays for one more, final season. In the meantime, I’d be getting Clint Hurtt ready to succeed Vic.

Exactly. Hold on to that man. He did the job in Seattle.

Hopefully Fangio will stick around for another year. As you alluded to, Christian Parker likely would have moved up to the DC role here if Fangio were retiring before the 2026 season. Regardless, Vic played a big role in helping the Eagles win a Super Bowl, and anything else he can give the team is a bonus in my book.

Great read Les. I think (and hope) you’re right about Vic staying on one more year

On a personal note Les, I understand the changing of doctors. All of mine retired too. Now I have to train a new group.LOL

Yeah, I don’t believe Vic would retire after most of the DC positions have been filled. He knows how things are done in the NFL and wouldn’t screw over the Eagles. I wish they could have made a deal with Parker to stay one more year and then take over as DC.
