You’re way over-penalizing Allar for not making “courageous” throws. You undersell how bad his receivers have been since he became a starter, especially last season. You’ve watched the film – how many times were the guys on the outside actually creating any sort of meaningful separation? Not very often. Yes he could force more throws into tight spots and maybe sometimes he is too conservative but I think it’s more a case of him playing with the cards he was dealt. Hopefully with a complete overhaul of the receiver room we will see more shots.

If I saw it correctly, I think espn had Klubnik going first overall in the entire draft next year. Maybe there’s a detail I missed that explains the gap. But if not that quite the disparity. Also, I’m just a casual football watcher but your sense of Klubnik is closer to what I would have guessed his current projection is.
