Bowen: Once again, Eagles, I implore you to stop doing this to us. Just be a little bit normal?

💯 Les! Watching Patullo call this offense is one of the most frustrating experiences in my 50+ years obsessing over Eagles football. What a waste of a Super Bowl caliber Defense…it’s absolutely maddening!

I really believe that Sirianni and Patullo feel like if they are leading on the scoreboard and in turnovers in the second half it is time to shut the offense down. After all they are now 42-2 when they win the turnover battle, so anything that might create a turnover is BAD and must be avoided at all costs, unless it is 3rd down and long then you can chuck the ball 40 yards deep because at that point an interception is just a punt. That completely explains the 2nd half offense we have seen so much this year, ineffective run, ineffective run, inexplicably throw it 40+ yards downfield. Someone should ask the two dingleberries if they know the record of teams that get shutout in the 2nd half. I bet it ain’t 42-2.

I did the research, the Eagles are 3-4 under Nick Sirianni when they get shutout in the 2nd half. The Bills game was the THIRD time this year they were shutout in the second half(4 times in 4 years, 3 times THIS year). They are 1-2 in those games(Giants, Dallas, Bills). The other two wins when being shutout in the second half were back in 2022(weeks 2 and 3), but those games were different as they were sitting on 3 score leads at the time.

When SF of CHI comes to the Linc and wipes us off the map as I predict given how smooth and effective those offenses are running will we get the chance to tar and feather Patullo and Sirianni for this idiotic approach?

Les,

I think I could be a DC as long as its the Eagles as my oppenent.

Eagles
1st and 10 run the ball. Stopped
2nd and 10 pass incomplete.
3rd and 10 run the ball two yard gain
4th punt

2nd series:

1st down Bubble scene loss of 3
2nd and 13 run the ball 2 yard gain
3rd and 11 inside handoff to Barkley. 3 yard gain
4th down punt.

See I already know the Eagles playbook.
