The kill shot to Smith was when I knew the game was over. There was no way the Chiefs were going to score 35 points. Not the way our defense was playing.

Great job, Fran! Can you do a quick breakdown of the handoff to Gainwell where the lineman were spread out outside the numbers? The broadcast was late getting back so the ball was snapped before we could see how the teams were lined up. What were the options on that play?

On both of Hurts’ scrambles up the middle later in the game, it looked like he watched Bolton as the back released late to the flat. As soon as Bolton showed he was moving to cover the receiving option, Jalen hit the gas. Two great late-in-the-down reads and scrambles from Super Bowl Champion Jalen Hurts (feels good to say).
