Not many tough decisions on here but Becton over Brooks is beyond insanity

Absolutely. Brandon Brooks was basically what we were hoping Shawn Andrews would become. I really enjoy Becton, particularly in the running game, but BB was better.

There was no pick more egregious.

Unhinged decision to go with the year the game was played instead of the league season year. Was Zach editing?

We already had make picks based on Super Bowl date on air, Steve. Was out of ZB’s hands. Your point is a good one, but “unhinged” a little strong? Haha.

The disrespect shown to Dougie P is wild. Best coaching performance I’ve ever seen.

Woody Peoples was at the end of his career but was still a good football player and a clear upgrade at guard over Ed (holding, number 64 of the offense) George.

Glen: Nicely done. My friends and I have the same exact memory of Ed George.

Brutal. You guys chose Andy Reid from 2005 over Doug P? And you say at the beginning of the article that it was based on the performances in the Super Bowl? What am I missing?

P.S. hilarious to choose Becton (who hasn’t played yet) over Brooks.

I know the picks are based on body of work over how they played in the game specifically, but I’d have included Corey Clement, just because he was so awesome in that game. Westbrook as a 3rd down back works too. I mean, if just performance in the game itself is not enough to get in, then frankly I don’t understand the choice of Foles, who only started 3 regular season and 3 playoff games that season. Jalen was a full-time starter in 2022/23 and played just as well in the SB as Foles did if not better.

That’s a good point, Michael. Only reason Clement was not in the discussion is I listed only starters. Clement played a huge part in the game. Thanks.
