If Nick doesn’t add value to the side of the ball that he’s allegedly good at, then his only value is as a cheerleader – which is not as valuable as a good offense. He’s not a good game manager. He’s not a good game planner. I think he’s good organizationally and from a practice / structural perspective – and I think that matters. I think the players like him. Those things matter, but I guess I’d prefer someone who can do those things while also being able to run an offense. If he didn’t step in and tell Kevin that his offense sucks, then he sucks. That’s kind of where I’m at. I appreciate his loyalty and the way he cares about his coaches and players, but ultimately, his name is on this product, and he allowed it to suck.
