Evaluating the Embiid-less Sixers before the big man's return

Joel Embiid is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday against the New York Knicks, and his arrival could not come at a better time. The Sixers are 2-7 and fighting to stay relevant without the services of star guard Tyrese Maxey, and the MVP center brings the hope of two-way stability that no one else on the roster can match.
With that in mind, we had nine games to get a look at everybody else before the big guy arrived, and it felt like a good time to dive into what has and has not worked (and why) over the opening stretch. Here's where I view the Sixers' roster outside of Embiid after watching the opening weeks of the season.
