With Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Boston Bruins now in the books, the truly important part of the Philadelphia Flyers' preseason slate is over.
Yes, the Flyers have one more exhibition game -- a home matchup on Thursday versus New Jersey -- still to come. But with the entirety of the Devils' NHL roster already in Prague for their regular season opener on Friday, the Flyers will be facing an AHL lineup when their close out their preseason slate. As a result, Philadelphia head coach John Tortorella confirmed on Tuesday morning, they'll be sending out an AHL-heavy lineup to match their opponent as well. Tuesday was their true "dress rehearsal" game for the regular season -- not the finale.
