Hey Charlie,
What’s your realistic wishlist look like out of the 4 players that have a chance of being there? I’m throwing O’Brien in also.

For me in order its
Hagens
Frondell
Martone
O’Brien
Desoyners

If you pick 6th and there are 6 players you identify in this tier then there is 100% chance one of the 6 will be there so shouldn’t your percent likelihoods add up to 100% instead of 115%?

A player besides those top 6 could get drafted in the top 5, thus > 100% probability.

Hard pass on Martone. We don’t need another RW, especially one with so many question marks.

Charlie, what’s going on with you? Are you OK? How can you possibly write the following sentence: “The good news is that, at least according to scouting consensus (at the moment), the Flyers will have an opportunity to nab one of those six players.” Come on, man! The Flyers draft 6th, so unless we get beamed to a parallel universe with different laws of physics between now and the draft, there is literally no way the Flyers would not have an opportunity to nab one of those six players.

I like the idea of taking the best of these top 6, and then trading up to try and grab either Carter Bear of Roger McQueen in the high teens.

Whenever I read about those Tier 2 guys together, Desnoyers always seems like the best pick for the Flyers.

They each have strengths, but his overall game and lack of major weaknesses makes Desnoyers the one I hope is putting on that Flyers jersey on draft day.
