PHILADELPHIA -- The homestand from hell continues for the Philadelphia Flyers. Perhaps it's appropriate, then, that this loss came at the hands of Devils.
In a Sunday matinee, the Flyers dropped a 3-1 decision to the rival New Jersey Devils for their fourth consecutive defeat -- all four coming in their season-long seven-game homestand. When they returned to Philadelphia last weekend for the homestand, they were flying high, having taken down the best team in the league by record (Winnipeg). Since they, they've yet to secure a win, and lost three players (Scott Laughton, Andrei Kuzmenko and Erik Johnson) to trades.
