Call it the Revenge for Ryan game, or Payback for Poehling.
Either way, it was be an accurate way to describe the Philadelphia Flyers' dominant second period that carried them to victory over the New York Islanders on Thursday night.
A questionable hit by Islanders rookie Maxim Tsyplakov knocked Ryan Poehling out of the game midway through the first period. But after collecting their emotions, the Flyers took full control, scoring three goals in the middle stanza and then holding on for a 5-3 win.
