WASHINGTON, DC -- It was supposed to be the Matvei Michkov show. Instead, it was the entire Philadelphia Flyers show.
While Matvei Michkov made a successful NHL preseason debut, he was simply one of many high-end performers for the Flyers on Sunday in Washington D.C. against the Capitals. Philadelphia cruised to a 6-2 victory, shaking off the fatigue that comes after the first three days of a John Tortorella training camp to throttle the Caps.
