Philadelphia Flyers end-of-season report cards: The forwards

The Philadelphia Flyers' season came to an end a little less than a week ago. But there's still one piece of business remaining before the book can be fully closed on the 2024-25 campaign: final report cards.
As in the past, these grades are based on a combination of overall quality of play and performance relative to preseason expectations. In other words, a fourth liner who performed well in his role may get a grade higher than a top-sixer who was “better” in terms of overall value added but underachieved relative to past performance — but said fourth liner probably isn’t going to get an “A” grade, unless he was a true impact player in all facets of the game.
