“I’m not going to sit here and make excuses.”

Proceeds to make an excuse. Then also ignores the fact that his team was immediately given a powerplay for a cross-check so insignificant Crosby didn’t even register it happening. If that was a penalty, there have been 250 of them committed so far this series.

And that minor left the Flyers with 3/4 of their PK defensemen in the box. Ristolainen killed off the entire thing, got the world’s shortest breather, then went out and potted the go-ahead goal. He was an absolute monster tonight.

Muse should worry about trying to figure out how to win a game. The Penguins have been getting breaks on penalties since Crosby came into the league. The guy has a career once he retires. Stunt double in Hollywood. He has been diving and crashing to the ice his whole time in the league. The fact he has never been called for it before sure seemed like favoritism.

I hope the Flyers finish this Saturday and wipe that smug look off of Crosby’s face.

Penguins finished game 2 w/ an uncalled boarding penalty from Letang and cheap shots from Mantha that left Tippet bleeding only to cry about WWE gameplay in game 3. Here’s hoping the Flyers give them something new to cry about on Saturday.

Great article on the key moment in Game 3, before this game, I had some admiration for Rust as a hockey player, after this game, I have none. He only fought when he had the advantage over TK, when it would have been even he turned tail. Well done, Les!
