My approach to this Flyers season is not to get too high or low on wins and losses. I kind of expected this result after traveling from Chicago. My thoughts entering the season was improve the PP and PK and look for better goalie play and be competitive They have achieved 3 of the 4 with the PP still being pretty bad after a good start. Even though they currently hold a playoff spot I wouldn’t be upset if they fall out of that race. They are not a Cup contender yet so their performance from game to game is not unexpected. As expectations increase the pressure on this team will increase and that is the next level I will be interested in how they respond to those expectations. Fans will be expecting more that’s for sure.

The metrics seem to match my perception of the game but I agree with your rating as it was mostly a dud game to watch. I am also a fan of the other PA football team, not the hockey team though, so it was a bit much to sit through both games yesterday as neither team really scored, 😩 My fandom comes from the 70s teams when I was a kid, the best teams for both the Flyers & Steelers, respectively.
