Refs were terrible with reffing a consistent game as they always do. Zegras showing why buying low on legit talent is always worth the risk. He transformed the power play like few players can. Really like what i see from Grebenkin. The kid is only 22, has a lot of room to grow. He wins a lot of board battles. Hopefully as the season progresses we can see his role grow

I don’t know if this or the mailbag is the right place for this, or if you’d be able to find an answer, but I would be genuinely interested to know the last time we have scored on consecutive power plays, one after another, the way we did last night. We need PHLY stats department. Lol.

Yet again, the Flyer’s get questionable calls on penalties. What is going on with the league and the attitude toward the Flyers? This just seems to keep happening every game so far this year. The quick arm in the air is bad enough, but when goals are taken away in games such as the Carolina game, and to a lesser degree, the game against the Leafs and ends in a Flyer losing effort should be cause for major concern. Is it just a bad reputation? Too much arguing the calls? What exactly is going on? In listening to the broadcast team, it seems like it is becoming something to be expected now.

Even if we didn’t pull out the win I would much rather watch a 4-3 wide open game than a 2-1 slog. Hopefully they can keep this up.

The Power Play was an early highlight. Zegras earned all his ice time unlike some other Flyers who are just given tons of minutes. Very exciting game especially following the Calgary Flameout.
