Except with real numbers. I didn’t know their regulation wins number was that bad going into last night.

I truly enjoy watching the team I love win. But the optimist did not convince me of anything. We’re not on the road to building a Stanley Cup contender. We’re on the road to building a mediocre team for the foreseeable future, maybe a playoff win to keep everybody’s hopes up that this is gonna work. Since Danny B thinks the St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup wasn’t a fluke I guess that’s the path we’re trying to take.

I love how that got increasingly adversarial as it went on. Accurate.
