I watched the Phils game, but switched to the Flyers between innings. Call it timing, but each time I switched, Zamula made bad plays and Juulsen wasn’t much better. York is sorely missed.

I don’t expect them to make the playoffs (don’t really want them to) but it’s going to be a rough year watching Tocchet play sub par vets and replacement level (but tall) defenders over the kids with skill. I’d much rather watch a 6-4 loss than a 2-1 loss.

Good opening game that was kind of setup for low scoring given the active players and line combinations. The Cates line stood out as usual lately as did Vladar who impressed in his Flyers debut!
