Earlier this year, this was a boring team. Lately they are anything but. What a difference an offensive game plan makes, along with an infusion of new talent. Vlady in goal has certainly been a huge game changer as well. This was a great game by the whole team with a deserved result

Couturier had me angry with that missed golden opportunity that he elected to pass the puck on. I am glad that he redeemed himself with that tip on the 4th goal.

Charlie what r your thought on why Michkov gets 4th line level minutes done nights ? Also, is it a function of not having the right center who fits with him ?

One under-stated thing in all of this is Danny’s ability to pick talent. Sean Walker, Dan Vladar and Dvorak – all 3 have been excellent signings.

You nailed the top three stars in the correct order, Charlie! Vladar carried them to victory as he showed up from the jump. Andrae keeps surging and is now our fourth best defenseman. I wish that the Flyers would move their forwards around more but the Dvorak line makes it tough as they fit nicely together. Foerster is coming into his own this season as the game winner shows!
