What were the main top 2 lime combos, Charlie?
Coots/Zegras/TK and Dvorak/Michkov/Tippett?

Commented on this when Andrae sent down two weeks ago when all healthy best D lineup is York /Sanheim
Risto/Andrae Seeler/Drysdale

Pleasantly surprised at how well the team has started the season. Toccett and the players who came with him, along with Danny B’s additions have seemingly created a team with possibilities after last night’s showing. And, I’m sorry but too many of these “penalties” have been questionable through the first three games. Yes some were deserved, but too many, I thought were really too borderline to call. With a bit different luck, I could see this Flyer’s club starting at 3 – 0. This is beginning to look like it could be a very interesting season. So glad to see Coots have such a great game.

Just a truly fantastic game by the locals. To beat THAT team is huge. Through 3 games they have competed and hung with 2 elite teams. This season is going to be fun. They may not make the post season but if they play like this teams around the league will notice, “The Flyers are coming.”

It’s ironic that the penalty cited was the Marchand tripping penalty. That looked more like a veteran dive than an outright trip, especially after what appeared to be obvious Florida penalties were not called. Bennet could get a goalie interference penalty in every game he plays.

Can they please just keep Andrea with the team? He’s proven he has more upside than any of the other options.

Ten bell effort from the boys. Nice to be able to make a save consistently.

This game marked not only the first Flyers win but the breakout games of Coots & Zegras alike. That play by Zegras which was expertly detailed here shows the limitless potential for this talented forward. It was the best setup that I have seen in a long, long time. I am not sure why this didn’t occur to me sooner: why did they wait for York to be ready to return before recalling or keeping Andrae? I thought that he was a perfect replacement for a York or Drysdale injury, silly me. Their decisions are head scratchers sometimes. Oh well, it was a good win which was also highlighted by Vladar, who I still contend is our best net minder so far.
