Good grief, does this team ever need to move on from Morgan Frost. His stick wasn’t even close to the puck on that play. I know the Flyers are thin at center, but if Frost can’t even avoid that kind of peewee hockey mistake, he shouldn’t be on the team.

Charlie, how does the “bubble playoff team” element impact the front office’s approach to the trade deadline, in your view? Will the FO be more reluctant to part with Risto, Laughton (talk about tough shifts – shot into goalie’s pads on a short-handed breakaway, then gets beaten to the puck on the goal seconds later), or other assets if they are “in the hunt”? The concern is that they “reward the room” by keeping it together versus making the hard decisions needed for the longer term.

Going by the Flyers public statements, I would expect them to focus mainly on long-term rebuilding – but if there is a move that helps them in the short term but doesn’t hurt thos rebuild, they will likely take it.
Thats what they did last year, in trading Walker right when they were in the thick of the playoffs.

It doesn’t really sting that much, tbh.
This season is about enjoying the games and hoping the players improve – win/lose isn’t that critical (atleast to me).

In regards to the officiating, it’s not the calls they made it’s all the ones they chose not to make. This year felt different than year gone by, but these last 3 games were absolutely atrocious. Boston fans should be embarrassed by their “soccer”team.
