Andrae needs to play well at Lehigh and then hopefully once Risto returns they reform that pair that was effective last year. Along with the other set 4 that is their best 6 to compete with this year.

Feels like Andrae is getting kind of shafted. I know the front office is worried about the defence being “too small” as you mention, but wouldn’t now be the time to test that theory and see if maybe extra skill can offset the size disadvantage?

Very thorough and thoughtful article, Charlie. Thanks. About Bump: He had a great regular NCAA season, but he scored zero points in the Frozen Four (admittedly a very small sample size), and in the AHL, was shutout in the second round. I agree he’s a very nice prospect, but he’s had hiccups before

I don’t see how Zamula has earned his spot. He doesn’t look very good, at all, but he somehow slides in. I don’t get it. And, Luchanko doesn’t make much sense as the 4C. He is not better than Coots, Zegras or Cates, and playing 4th Line C vs getting a chance to dominate in Juniors, I don’t believe , is best for his development.
