Note to start: I am reading this after Game 2. The thing is this article is still relevant and you correctly identified all the Flyers advantages and disadvantages very well. After 2 games, the advantages are even more true as the Pens offense couldn’t break the Flyers defensive structure at all in Game 2! The Pens tried to match the Flyers physicality but failed even worse. The Flyers disadvantages still held true as Tippett came up empty on 2 good chances including a penalty shot but did have a great primary assist! Possession time is still an issue but it is tough when all the PPs are for the Pens. The refs really need to improve, maybe as much as the Pens themselves. They have been poor in both games too. Michkov should at least be on PP1 if he is going to be given a chance, under 10 mins is tough but no real complaints here. He actually played hard, had a couple of blocks and some shots with his limited ice time. Go Flyers!!
