You, and all of the other regular writers and broadcasters covering the Flyers are always very generous in making excuses for the shortcomings of this team. However, games like this, for those who have the misguided thought that this team is much better that what we have seen from this club the last few years should come back to earth with a thud. This might be one of the more difficult jobs as far as head coach in the NHL. While there are areas of real improvement, too many of the old, bad habits, such as slow starts, bone headed mistakes, players not in correct position, timid shot selection, ect. with this team. Toccett has his hands full moving forward here. While Danny Briere has brought this club some talent, we really have a long way to go. Unless this team by some miracle starts to jell, it could be yet another long, long year for the orange and black.

Outclassed in this one. Give me Jason Robertson, please as I hear the Stars are down on him. This should quiet the detractors. Danny please propose a good offer for him as he is the type of player that we need. This game was a dud in the worst way as it was uneventful. Thanks for doing your best with explaining why it was so.
