Well, that’s Brink traded. They got a player with the tools to be the #6 overall pick in 2022 – they did pretty well with their previous #6 reclamation project, so i am ok to see how this works out…. Taking a.. erm…flyer.. on Jiricek is a better gamble than a 2nd or 3rd round prospect who may not even become an NHLer.

Great trade deadline primer, Charlie! You identified all the key players and provided other options that are less likely to be traded now but could be around the draft or over the summer. I see a lot of smoke around Tippett and see him as being traded possibly for a center in a package after this season. I also agree that Andrae like Brink isn’t long for the Flyers.
