It’s hard to ignore that Tortorella’s training camps defy all the things we know from sports medicine and sustaining strength throughout the season as we review a player who’s production fell off after 60 games of the season.

Oh? And what is it that we do know about sports medicine that is relevant here?

What sort of training load does a few weeks of camp accumulate that actually carries over 6 months later?

Pray do tell. This should be interesting.

Torts coached teams will always over perform in the early to mid season before falling apart. He then will blame the players for not trying hard enough. He will then lose the locker room. Rinse and repeat.

Charlie, excellent in depth pieces on key Flyers. So when do we analyze Morgan Frost in more depth? He’s clearly a most controversial skater.
