This is a good old Charlie slobberknocker of an article, love it. Great breakdown.
I still see Torts leaning on the vets to start and slowly adding kids into the mix down the road.
A healthy Coots and top 15 goalie performance by Hart would go a long way in making the roster competitive whether many fans are happy with that is another question. There is a clear plan and some positivity. Good to see after last years debacle.

The Flyers defense is gonna be the source of much internet chatter. Hopefully they can turn a bunch of these vets into mid round picks

Way too early lineup guess:
Farabee-Coots-TK
Tippett-Frost-Atkinson
Laughton-Cates-Foerster
Allison-Poehling-Hathaway
York-Sanheim
Staal-Risto
Seeler-Walker
Hart
Ersson
Tim Williamson
Of course Charlie is the first to write something for the diehards! Hopefully at some point, sooner rather than later, we can trade some of these bottom 6 vets to open up spots for the kids. Why it took so long to rebuild when the sixers were applauded by most local fans for starting the process, I will never know.

I have followed you over here, Charlie. Great article. Very happy to be able to stick with the best beat writer in the city.

Different platform, same great article. One of the most exciting story lines for me going into the season is Joel Farabee. Whether he will have a spot in the rebuild or not. I think he can at a 2LW role, and get back to his healthy self he will be valuable there. 25g 25a at his peak

This is the sound of settling
Bop-ba, bop-ba (bop-ba)
An improvement over Fletcher’s utter incompetence? Yep.
A front office that seems capable of building a good team: The current results are not promising.

Have never really followed the flyers but this year feels like a good jumping in year similar to the process years. Can’t wait to read all the coverage
