Charlie, I think the team has a higher grade than you on Morozov. I can see him, Dagenais or Tommy Bleyl as our pick.

No Alexander Bilecki? 6’2 high end skating offensive defenseman with some physicality who will run Kitchener’s powerplay next year when Cam Reid goes to college. He is a better version off Ben Macbeth at least. Could pop next year and was very good this year.
Shiloh has a DND grade on a lot of teams boards despite the obvious talent.

Dagenais, Morozov, Hakensson, Sokolovskii are probably high on the Flyers list. I like all 4. I wouldn’t mind Klepov or Bleyl either.

Pugachyov and Suvanto are possibilities as well. I also might take a chance on Cover, tantalizing package with limited time on ice. Mutryn could also be someone they may like.
Kleopv’s skill and motor with decent skating would probably help.

There is a little bit of revisionist history with this comment: ‘None come with the certainty that a player like Macklin Celebrini did back in 2024.’ Celebrini was considered a great prospect, but not at the Bedard level in 2024. He has very much exceeded expectations at the NHL level since then.

Good breakdown of the player rankings by tier. I can’t say that I disagree with any of these. However, some of these players will hit and they can basically come from any of these tiers. Let’s just hope the Flyers picked correctly. Also, it might not have been the best draft to have a top pick. That Toronto pick for Laughton is looking better and better…
