The Philadelphia Flyers dropped their preseason opener to the Washington Capitals last night, 5-2, despite decent showings for Jett Luchanko and Cole Knuble. David Jiricek wasn’t bad, but still has plenty to work on, but Porter Martone certainly didn’t look like a player who is on a mission to dominate out of the gate as a rookie.
