The Philadelphia Flyers mostly took care of in-house business on Day 1 of free agency, extending the contracts Dan Vladar and Tyson Foerster. But outside of the 4th line’s Garnet Hathaway replacement in Noel Acciari, Danny Briere didn’t do much to improve the 2026-27 Flyers. And after saying the team could possibly take a “step back” in the coming season, fans are understandably concerned, especially after John Carlson took less money to go to Tampa Bay.
