The Eagles won in decisive fashion over the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Here were my five biggest takeaways after reviewing the film.
1 - EMPTYING THE PLAYBOOK
Last week I did a deep dive into Jalen Hurts’ struggles over the previous four-game stretch, with the basic thesis statement at the end of the piece being that Hurts was holding the ball longer than any quarterback in football during that time and, more importantly, was not effective when he did it. The longer Hurts held the ball, the less effective he was. As a reminder, here’s the chart from last week.
