After an uber-impressive performance in Week 3 against a rolling New Orleans Saints offense, Vic Fangio's defense was riding a high wave of optimism. There were real ‘Xs and Os’ adjustments made up front. The run defense appeared to get straightened out. The execution on the back-end was nearly flawless to take away chunk plays in the passing game. The defensive front was unleashed.
