Daniel Briere's first ever trade deadline as general manager of the Philadelphia Flyers is now concluded.
So... how did he do?
Briere certainly didn't sit on his hands. He executed three trades, served as the middle man in a fourth, and signed a current roster player to an eight-figure contract. And in the process -- through both his words and (especially) his actions -- Briere shed light on the very nature of his rebuilding plan for the Flyers.
