At some point during Nick Sirianni’s offseason, between visits from Dawn Staley and Jay Wright, deliberations about recovering from last season’s collapse and planning for a 2024 campaign that comes with the most intense scrutiny of Sirianni’s four years in Philadelphia, Sirianni rediscovered something.
“Joy,” Sirianni said. “That's what I felt this offseason.”
The admission came during a roundtable interview last month when Sirianni spent 40-plus minutes discussing everything from the scars of 2023 to the transition to “CEO coach” to his coaching staff upheaval to the speculation that Bill Belichick is looming as a potential replacement.
