Nothing turns football observers into marriage counselors more than a coach-quarterback relationship. Just ask Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts.
That task was literally fulfilled on Wednesday when the Eagles opened training camp for the fourth year of the Sirianni-Hurts partnership — an arrangement that has come under a microscope after the Eagles’ 2023 collapse.
“I think we're in a great place,” Hurts said.
“Jalen [Hurts] and I's relationship is good,” Sirianni said.
This doesn’t necessarily mean the marriage is in a honeymoon period. And there were apparent rocky moments last season; Hurts even implied Wednesday that the two were not on the same page.
